I am about to go into 10 days of big time bottoming – and you could help make my time in service possible….
Yes, it’s that time. I’m about to bottom big time to the big world for a good cause – in the form of volunteer roadie to AIDS LifeCycle.
There’s less than 2 weeks left for my fundraising. I hope you’ll support me.
AIDS LifeCycle is a 7-day bicycle ride from San Francisco to LA, to raise critically needed funds and awareness for HIV services. I am there to make sure that cyclists are safe and taken care of. For 10 days I set aside my own worries and needs and wants - I am in service to a bigger cause. It's hard work. My team's usually out before the first cyclist (6am) and come in after the last one (7pm or so) I can't say it's 'fun' per se, but it’s deeply meaningful, fulfilling and good.
Along with the labor and service time, I also fundraise.

ART!!
Following up on my last newsletter, where I proclaimed my foolish drive to further pursue my art.
It’s happening!
I just returned from a week and a half in New York, where an architect hired me to install rope art walls in a fancy Financial District bar and lounge. 8 days, 99.5 hours and 6,400 feet of rope later, it’s completed. As soon as they open I’ll be able to post pix and details on my Facebook and twitter. Stay tuned!

The next Rope Bondage Dojo ® weekend intensive will be in San Francisco over the weekend of August 18-19, 2012

Instruction hours: 10am – 7pm both days
Prerequisite: Willingness for serious learning. Must be able to tie your shoelaces. No experience necessary. However, those with experience will be appropriately challenged.
Includes: 16+ hours of intensive training from four Dojo Cadres. Emphasis will be on balanced education focusing on “Heart-Mind-Hand” approach, covering rope skills, scene managements, psychology, history and more for both those who tie and those who are tied.
