This May appeared to be really productive for impressions. While I was trying to collect my thoughts about KinbaCon there happened another event in Kiev – “Bondage – and what’s next?” And at last I found some free time to share my impressions.


The main thing I’d like to say about KinbaCon is that this event was really necessary, useful and interesting. Thanks a lot to those who have done their best to make this idea come true ant to make the event itself so exciting. It would be great if KinbaCon became an annual convention improving and increasing from year to year.

My participation was really accidential but it was just impossible to refuse to be the model of AlekZander :) My poor experience as a model played a mean trick on me, I was rather spoilt and used to go to Moscow to be tied and so on :) As a result of such “abstention” I lost my sober mind at the very beginning of our performance and could not come back to reality for a long time. Later on, when I became able to understand the information, Zander paid my attention to the work of Arisue Go and Kogure. It became clear that it’s a hard work to be a bondage model. It’s strange that it never came to my mind before. But KinbaCon has showed me the way to further self-perfection. In general, Zander has written his thoughts about model work in his blog. As for me, all this is just at the stage of comprehension, I’ll write about the results of this process as soon as I’ll be able to make any conclusions. Now I just know that I want to improve myself. It seems to me that actually it’s not so difficult to help the Master and that it does not take euphoria away, maybe it gives even additional euphoria of realizing that not only Master makes a good job but both of you, that you create a rope-and-body masterpiece together… Oh, how much I wish I could…

As for other impressions – the event was very diverse and exciting. Each pair was so different from others… I really worried about Vik – it’s understood, he’s my daughter’s godfather and just a good friend – but everything was ok, he showed a high-grade performance. Miledi and Liya made a very tender action. Unfortunately, I did not watch their suspension work, but it seems to me that it was right after Zander and me, so I had to come around in the smoking room :). “Spider webs” of Antoine followed by my own experience and talks about his bondage philosophy reminded me of the thing which I also liked but forgot – interweaving a person into the space around. It’s so comfortable inside of that! No wonder that at the performance his model looked like an angel caught by the web, her smile was shining… )))))

Another pleasant moment was that I visited Lviv at last! A unique city with crazy twisted streets, incredible architecture, delicious coffee (followed by a note wit a good advise for future), real Lviv beer and openhearted people who disproved all the legends about their attitude towards Russian-speaking people – they did not abuse anybody but patiently showed the way to those who got lost in the web of streets. Well, it’s a web city, and KinbaCon fits it very well :)

One week after KinbaCon another bondage event took place – this time it was in Kiev, I mean the party called “Bondage – and what’s next?” In spine of rather small company of participants, or maybe due to that, it became very comfortable and friendly. “The dry law” was a good idea, I think we should continue using it. Performances were also various and informative. The lecture about the electric play followed by a fetish and thrilling action was appreciated the most highly by everybody. Zander made beautiful things both on the stage and aside, it was impossible not to watch. Scorpionsha from Moscow was a very interesting woman, unfortunately, she did not take part in performances but it was interesting to talk to her. Kosta’s action with nettles and snails brought joy to everybody. As for me, I also had a good time :) (now I’m gonna boast a little though I know it’s no good))) I won the third place in the performance contest, the first place was won by the electric-play pair, and the second one – by Zander. I think, it’s really flattering to appear right behind Zander byt I promise that I’ll try not to have my nose in the air ))) So, for me the night finished at dawn when I was sitting in a bath drinking wine with two beloved people – more than wonderful… )))))
