Apparently I have good taste in erotic photography, because when I asked Lochai if I could use this image for CorsetandCollar.com, he told me Curves will be published in “The World’s Greatest Erotic Art of Today Vol 2″ as a winner in the photography category (n.b.: the link goes to Vol. 1). Last year he won overall photo and 2 other images of his were runner-ups.

You may not recognize the name, but I would bet money that you recognize his work. His image Beach Bound with Claire Adams is used in all kinds of forums as avatars, I’ve seen them in people’s comments on Myspace, in their favorite photos albums, and in photoblogs all over the blogosphere. It’s iconic.

In Lochai’s about page there is a very good bio. I won’t just copy/paste it. Go read it! In the first line is a sentence that I think pretty much sums up why I am in love with Lochai (at least his work!). It reads, “He shoots for the wall, not the computer screen.” I love photographers who are true artists.

Erotic Signature introduces its First Annual Erotic Art Festival to mark the release of "The World's Greatest Erotic Art of Today - Vol. II" publication, as well as the Kick-Off of the Exhibition Tour of the winners from both the 2006 and 2007 Erotic Art Competitions. The Tour will start with the Festival in Miami, and then travel to Los Angeles, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, and London.

Though the Festival's focal point consists of some of the World's Best Erotic Art, the weekend celebration will be more than just art. This one of a kind event presents not only the sexual and erotic aspects of Art and Photography, but it is also a celebration of eroticism in Music, Fashion, and Entertainment. It will be a spectacular and fun weekend exploring all aspects of an artistic and erogenous journey. There will be something for everyone whether you are an art enthusiast, fetishist, into alternative and sexy Lifestyles or just want to party your arse off.

The ARTundressed Festival hopes to attract over 3,000 people throughout the weekend of May 2 - 4, 2008. More than 300 artworks will be exhibited at 2 different locations, with the World Erotic Art Museum (http://www.weam.com) featuring the 2007-08 competition winners, and at Soho Studios showcasing the 2006-07 international winners and invited artists from the State of Florida. The weekend will begin with a Pre-party on Friday evening at the White Room in Downtown Miami (not to be missed!); Saturday morning's festivities will start with a brunch at Soho Studios in Downtown Miami, followed by the opening of the art exhibition at that location. An array of events is to follow including Live Art Contests, Live Music, Erotic Performances and Entertainment. Our Saturday Night Main Event will take place at one of Miami's Most Dazzling Venues with some of the world's top international deejays and erotic performers. Sunday will be filled with fun activities in the afternoon and the Closing Ceremony at Soho Studios. The Official Closing Party will take place at another venue (TBD) until the wee-hours of Monday. "The Worlds Greatest Erotic Art of Today"

The Old Arbat street is the unofficial centre of youth culture. You can find painters, dancers, musicians and other artists performing here. Foreigners can buy cheap souvenirs for huge money here as well. This is the place where different groups use to meet: goths, emo, hippies, rockers, punks etc. Muscovites like to have a stroll along this pedestrian street on weekends starring at artists and showing off themselves, and I’m not an exception. Today K.G., Billy and I felt free enough to take a walk on Arbat, but we didn’t expect that today is the Day of Bubbles! It’s a pity that we were dressed so casually - look at the rest of the crowd!!!
